MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) โ A reward of up to $750 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man police believe is responsible for an assault in the city of Manitowoc.
According to the Manitowoc Police Department, shortly before 5:30 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported โsomeone entered their residence and physically assaulted them.โ
Officials say the assault took place in the 1200 block of N. 9th Street. When the man was confronted by another occupant of the home, he allegedly fled the residence before police arrived. Police say the man likely suffered an injury to his left-hand finger(s) during the altercation.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5โ6โณ tall with a thin build. He is said to have blond/brown hair with bangs and was wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants.
Video evidence identifies the suspectโs vehicle as a newer model, white SUV similar to a Nissan Rogue, Chevy Trax or Buick Encore. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on N. 8th Street, past Reed Ave.
In cooperation with Crime Stoppers, MPD is offering a reward up to $750 for any information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the assault.
