LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Officials in Little Chute are investigating a fire that damaged the bathrooms at Doyle Park.
Around 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, the Little Chute Fire Department responded to the park for calls of black smoke coming from the bathrooms near the pool.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the building to locate the source of the fire. No injuries were reported.
LCFD said damage estimates are unknown and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, a Facebook post from the Village of Little Chute said the fire was “due to vandalism.”
Efforts are underway to re-open the bathrooms as soon as possible.
