OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance locating a man who removed his GPS device just weeks before his child sexual assault trial is scheduled to begin.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Michael J. Bullock is currently out on a $40,000 bond for repeated sexual assault of a child and other related crimes. Online court records show Bullock was set to face a jury trial on July 31.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Bullock violated the terms of his bond by removing his GPS monitoring device. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Bullock was last seen in the Suring area Monday morning. Officials are unsure if he has access to a vehicle.
He is described as a white male with blonde hair and green eyes, standing 5’10” and weighing 240 pounds.
Anyone with information on Bullock is asked to contact the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 834-6900. Do not attempt to apprehend the subject on your own, police say.
