FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed in the back with a scissors in Fond du Lac.
Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of E. 1st Street just before 10:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a disturbance and possible stabbing.
When officers arrived, several individuals left the residence but the victim and suspect did not.
Inside a 41-year-old Fond du Lac man was suffering from a stab wound. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his non-life threatening injury.
The suspect, a 45-year-old Fond du Lac man, was taken into custody without further incident.
The scissors allegedly used in the stabbing was recovered.
Police say alcohol consumption appears to have played a role in the incident.
