SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is in custody after a shooting in Sheboygan early Monday morning.
Around 3:35 a.m., the Sheboygan Police Department was dispatched to a home in the 700 block of S. 26th Street for a report of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found several spent shell casings in the roadway and determined two vehicles had been damaged. No one was injured in the shooting.
After obtaining details regarding a possible suspect and the vehicle they might be driving, police relayed the information to other Sheboygan County agencies. A short time later, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department located the vehicle in question pulling into a driveway.
A 31-year-old Sheboygan Falls man was arrested without incident by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department. Charges have been referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for review.
Officials say this was an “isolated incident between individuals who are known to each other” and there is no risk to the community.
