National exhibit on human migration comes to the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers, April 5, 2024. PC: Fox 11 Online

TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Lester Public Library in Two Rivers is currently hosting the traveling exhibit, “World on the Move: 250,000 Years of Human Migration”.

It’s one of 15 public libraries in the U.S. chosen to host the exhibit.

“We hope people recognize that migration is a shared human experience, appreciate the complexity of migration stories, feel safe to discuss issues surrounding migration, and share migration stories with family members, neighbors, and friends,” said Jeff Dawson, Director of the Lester Public Library.

It’s on display now through April 23, 2024.

The goal of the exhibit is to change the public conversation about migration and displacement.
