Suspected Drunk Driver Causes Head-On Collision in Weyauwega, 4 Hospitalized

WEYAUWEGA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A driver in a wrong-way, head-on crash is suspected of driving drunk, the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office says.

At 7:55 p.m. Monday, officials responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 10 in the town of Weyauwega.

Deputies say an eastbound vehicle was traveling in the westbound lane and collided with a westbound car.

There were three occupants in the eastbound car and one occupant in the westbound car. All of the occupants were taken to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
