TOWN OF MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) โ A blanket belonging to missing 3-year-old boy Elijah Vue has been found in Manitowoc County.
Two Rivers police said Monday afternoon a red and white plaid blanket was confirmed to belong to the boy. It was found on Goodwin Road, east of Highway B. The blanket was found 3.7 miles from where the boy was last seen, at an apartment in the 3900 block of Mishicot Road in Two Rivers.
Police said the blanket was found โearlier in the investigation,โ but did not elaborate.
Elijah Vue was reported missing on Feb. 20.
The boy was last reported seen at the apartment of Jesse Vang. Prosecutors say the boyโs mother, Katrina Baur, sent her son to stay with Vang for โdisciplinary reasons.โ Both have been charged with child neglect and are due back in court this week. On Monday, Vang filed a motion seeking to have a neglect charge dismissed.
Police have asked the public to check surveillance cameras for video of a beige Nissan Altima that may be connected to the case.

Rewards totaling $40,000 are being offered in the case.
Elijah Vue is described as having dark blond hair and brown eyes. He is about three feet tall, weighs about 45 pounds and has a birthmark on his left knee.
