GIBRALTAR, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 17-year-old boy was jailed Friday after bringing a gun to Gibraltar High School.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office says a school resource officer was tipped off by a staff member that a student may have had a gun. The officer and a school administrator interviewed the boy and found a Ruger .38 Special revolver.
Sheriff’s officials say the boy is expected to appear in court on Monday.
The boy’s name was not released.
Sheriff’s officials say they are continuing to follow up with witnesses.
