GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — First Lady Jill Biden touched down in Green Bay Friday afternoon.
She arrived at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport around 3 p.m.
From there, Biden visited the Rail Yard Innovation District “to highlight how the Biden Administration’s policies are benefiting students across the country.”
“His [President Biden] vision for education involves students learning not only in a traditional classroom, but also outside in the community and on the job,” said First Lady Jill Biden.
A roundtable discussion spotlighting “efforts to expand career-connected learning in high school and college” was held following the speeches.
Friday’s visit marks the First Lady’s second trip to Green Bay in just over four months. In October, Biden spoke at an event for the American Cancer Society. The following day, she traveled to Neopit and Keshena to promote President Joe Biden’s administration’s support for the Menominee Nation.
