DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A popular restaurant and frozen custard shop has announced the closure of one of its Brown County establishments.
In a Facebook post Thursday, Zesty’s Frozen Custard & Grill said its De Pere location on Riverside Drive has closed its doors permanently.
Owners Ted Zieman and Janelle French said the decision was a difficult one.
Our lease was ending soon which prompted us to make this decision now… Hopefully this will allow us to better serve you at the other two year-round locations in Allouez and Howard,” the pair wrote. “We look forward to serving you for years to come. Thank you for all your continued support of our small, local business.
In addition to frozen custard, sundaes, shakes and malts, coffee and other cold treats, Zesty’s also has an expansive food menu which includes burgers, sandwiches, wraps, sides, and soups and salads.
