FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 15-year-old and 20-year-old face attempted homicide charges for allegedly firing shots at a North Fond du Lac home on Sept. 4.
Noah Metcalf, 15, faces four counts, including two of being party to attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Bond was set at $500,000 cash. He returns to court Tuesday for a balance of initial appearance. In Wisconsin, those ages 10 and older facing most homicide-related charges appear in adult court.
Jaysen Fix, 20, faces six counts, including two of being party to attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Bond was set at $750,000 cash. He returns to court Dec. 7 for a preliminary hearing, court records show.
The incident happened about 2 a.m. Sept. 4, when multiple shots were fired into a home in the 700 block of N. Michigan Ave, said North Fond du Lac Police Lt. Pete Vergos.
According to the criminal complaint, two people were sitting in the living room when they heard the shots, and the bulleted entered the home. One woman was injured by the debris. Four bullet holes were found in the house.
Metcalf told police he was targeting his ex-girlfriend, who he believed would be at the house. Metcalf contacted Fix, who fired the shots, according to Metcalf, the complaint states.
Fix admitted to firing five shots at the home, according to the complaint.
