MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Marinette man was sentenced to 17 years in prison for possessing nearly two pounds of cocaine.
Jesus Rodriguez-Hamilton, 37, was convicted after pleading to possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
Prosecutors say law enforcement found 1.7 pounds of cocaine in more than 30 packages for delivery in his Marinette apartment. Officials also found more than $16,000 in cash, scales, empty baggies and a vacuum sealer.
He was also sentenced to eight years of extended supervision.
