SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Firefighters were still working to combat a fire at the Seymour Community High School Monday evening, after a fire started in the school’s laundry room.
The fire started in the dryer before expanding to the rest of the room and into the walls, where crews were able to hold it, according to City of Seymour Fire Chief Ron VandeCorput.
While the fire was isolated to the one room, VandeCorput said the entire school was ventilated.
The cost of the damages, as well as the cause of the fire, remain unknown at this point.
No one was injured during this incident.
