MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Two people involved in a shooting after a Milwaukee Bucks playoff game last year are going to prison.
Marquise Jackson was sentenced to 22 years in prison and 15 years of extended supervision, while Alexus Jackson-Milton was sentenced to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision for the shooting which happened a year ago Saturday.
Seventeen people were wounded from the gunfire in downtown Milwaukee that night.
Judge Michael Hanrahan says the shooting was reckless, adding it was remarkable nobody died.
“You’re just basically spraying bullets downrange towards a lot of people,” said Hanrahan.
A total of five people were charged in connection with the shooting.
