OCONTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Seven people have been arrested following a fight at a Little Suamico bar.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests Friday. The fight took place last Saturday night at Archie’s Heavenly Spirits, 1192 Highway J. The fight began inside the building, then moved to the parking lot, officials say.
Deputies arrived to find that a 25-year-old Abrams man had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Sheriff’s officials are recommending he be charged with disorderly conduct and substantial battery. No formal charges have been filed yet.
The suspected shooter, 36-year-old Michael Booth of Lena, was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has been charged with operating a firearm while intoxicated, battery and disorderly conduct with the use of a dangerous weapon. Online court records show Booth was released on a $1,000 cash bond on Thursday. He is due back in court June 15.
Formal charges have been filed against two other people so far. Mitchell Francois, 27, of Pulaski, has been charged with disorderly conduct and being party to the crime of battery. Court records show he was released on a $1,000 cash bond on Thursday. He is due back in court May 25.
Kimberly Alft, 36, of Green Bay, has been charged with disorderly conduct and being party to the crime of battery. Online court records indicate she posted a $1,000 cash bond on Thursday. She is due back in court May 25.
Investigators are recommending a 32-year-old woman and 27-year-old man be charged with disorderly conduct and battery; and a 24-year-old man be charged with disorderly conduct. No formal charges have been filed against those three yet.
