(WNFL) – The Marquette Golden Eagles wrapped up the Big East Conference regular season title with a 72-56 win over the Butler Bulldogs Tuesday night.
Marquette was led by Tyler Kolek who scored 21 points. Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 14 for the now 24-6 Golden Eagles.
Defensively, Marquette was locked in, holding Butler to less than 40 percent shooting from the field.
The Golden Eagles wrap up the Big East regular season Saturday when they face St. John’s.
