The building is mainly used for storage such as vehicles and other rented equipment.
Manitowoc Fire Chief Todd Blaser tells FOX 11 when crews arrived on scene, the fire had spread throughout the structure, and says the fire may have went undetected for a a good amount of time.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene and the fire is considered contained. Because it’s an inactive storage building, there are no concerns of air quality or water contamination.
