ANTIGO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Half of a father-son pair of former church pastors charged with multiple sexual assault of a child counts pleaded not guilty Monday.
No trial date was set for Travis Huse, 42, court records show. He faces 31 charges, including sexual assault of a child counts and child enticement counts.
Scott Huse, 64, enters a plea July 18 to a dozen charges.
According to the Langlade County Sheriff’s Department, the allegations stem from incidents while the Huse family was involved with the Apostolic Worship Center and former Evergreen Christian Academy in Elton. The department describes the men as former United Pentecostal Church pastors.
Court records list offense dates from Sept. 1990 to Sept. 1994 for Scott Huse, and from Oct. 1996 through Jan. 2006 for Travis Huse.
