GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Summer is on the way, and that means events and fun in the sun in Downtown Green Bay. Downtown Green Bay launched its summer guide to the city Tuesday.
The Summer in the City events guides are sent out in May to get people ready for what the warmer weather will bring.
“This year is more important than ever. We’re so excited to be launching and returning to these full scale events that we had in the past,” said Downtown Green Bay Inc. Marketing Manager, Emily Cubitt. “We spent so much time brainstorming how we approach these events and how to get people down here, and how to increase foot traffic in a really purposeful and meaningful way. I’m really excited about the line up of events that are coming to downtown this summer.”
Mayor Eric Genrich joined city officials on the CityDeck to present it.
The guide kicks off the summer season Wednesday with the Broadway Farmer’s Market.
