SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Shawano County Fair returned over the weekend and organizers say…it felt normal.
The six-day fair began last Wednesday and ran through Labor Day weekend.
It featured demos, races, bands, rides and food.
Brad Luepke, marketing and promotions director for the fair, says attendance appears to be pre-pandemic level.
“I say it’s always a sign of hope, right? We need a sign of hope in times like this, so this gives people a sign of hope and seeing everybody laughing and smiling and having a great time, it’s just so much fun,” he said.
Shawano County held its 2020 fair but attendance was less than average due to the pandemic.
