GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – While tornadoes and high winds have grabbed the headlines over the past few days, torrential downpours also left their mark on Northeast Wisconsin.
According to the National Weather Service, some areas saw more than 3 inches of rain between Monday and Thursday. Fish Creek led the way with 3.51 inches.
This year has seen the wettest first 11 days of August on record in Green Bay. The 4.98 inches that fell since the beginning of the month are more than the 4.04 inches in 2019 and 3.42 inches in 1903 and 1935.
