MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTAQ) – A Republican state lawmaker in Minnesota is set to introduce a bill that would allow the Minnesota Twins to play home games in Wisconsin until Governor Tim Walz allows fans to return to Target Field.
The Milwaukee Brewers were recently granted permission to host games at American Family Field with over 10,000 fans.
Representative Pat Garafolo says teams across the country have safely allowed fans in their stadiums. Garafolo adds that the law would be suspended once Minnesota allows fans back.
