ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Packers Hall of Fame is back open after months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The hall of fame is a 15,000 square foot museum, artifacts from 1919 to present day,” said Assistant Manager Marc Leisgang.
The Hall of Fame is limited to 52 guests at a time, and each guest will only have an hour and a half to spend inside. Phil Hofer visited the museum from Colorado on Monday.
“There’s so much to see here, but then when I looked at my watch I said I only have 10 minutes, I need to go see the Lombardi trophies,” Hofer said.
Guests are also required to wear a facemask and avoid using their fingers to interact with displays. Some guests, like James Zemke, who visited Monday from South Carolina, were happy to see it.
“I myself am concerned about making sure coronavirus is squelched sooner than later, so I am very grateful to see the requirements for masks,” James Zemke of South Carolina told us. “As well as providing styluses even, as well as the markers on the floor for six feet.”
