(WNFL,METRO) – The Bucks extended their winning streak to 16 straight as they beat the Pelicans 127-112 in Milwaukee without star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The win streak is now the second=longest in team history, exceeded by only the 20 game streak during the 1970-71 season when the Bucks won the NBA championship.
Eric Bledsoe scored a team-high 29 points and Khis Middleton added 24 for Milwaukee. Ersan Ilasova had a season-high 18 points for Milwaukee.
The Bucks led by as many as 20 points in the first quarter and 28 in the second quarter.
Antetokounmpo sat out with a sore quad.
JJ Redick had a game-high 31 points for New Orleans.
Brandon Ingram bagged a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds in defeat, the team’s 10th straight.
The Bucks play at Memphis on Friday.
