MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is not ruling anything out when it comes to his political future.
The Republican told reporters on Saturday that he may be interested in running for Governor in 2022 if he does not seek another term in Washington. Though he says right now his focus is on the 2020 Presidential election.
Johnson is currently the only Republican that holds a statewide office in Wisconsin. He has previously said that the 2016 election would be his last.
Johnson made his comments during a break in the statewide Republican Convention.
