The St. Nobert Green Knights stayed perfect in Midwest Conference play by knocking off Lake Forest 63-62 at the Mulva Sports Center Wednesday night.
St. Norbert trailed by 10 with nine minutes to play but rallied for the victory when Joe Ciriacks hit a baseball runner with just a half second to play. Connor Curtis led the Knights with 16 points. They lead the MWC with a 9-0 record, they are 11-5 overall. St.. Norbert is 103-8 in their last 111 conference games.
The St. Norbert women made it a sweep of the Foresters with a 70-56 victory on the home floor. The Lady Knights finished strong, outscoring Lake Forest 28-12 in the fourth quarter. Sarah Ratajczyk led SNC with 22 points as they improved to 4-5 in conference play, 5-11 overall.
