There are many ways to cook corn on the cob on the grill. You can keep the corn in the husks and soak it ahead of time, or you can wrap it in foil and then put it on the grill.

I figured, as long as I’m wrapping it in foil to steam anyway, why not steam it in butter? So, I made a flavored butter with garlic, chili powder and cheese and covered the cobs with it before placing them on the grill. 20 minutes later, they were buttery, sweet and delicious!
I eyeballed the ingredients for the corn, but here’s a rough version of the recipe if you’d like to try it.
- 1 stick of salted butter
- 1/4 cup Asiago cheese
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 t chili powder
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/2 t lime juice
Make sure the butter is room temperature, add the other ingredients and mix together with a fork. Spread over the corn cobs, wrap them in foil, and place them directly on the grill for about 20 minutes.
