I came across a copycat recipe for Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ sauce. It’s spot on and puts the ZING in Amazing!
Combine all these ingredients in a blender. Simmer in a saucepan for 20 – 30 minutes.
1 c. ketchup, 1/3 c. white vinegar, 1/4 c. molasses, 1/4 c. honey, 1 t. liquid smoke, 1/2 t. salt, 1/2 t. black pepper, and 1/4 t. each paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
As you can see, it looks amazing on chicken wings (which I did a few weeks ago) so I tried it on ribs this weekend. Sweet, tangy, and just a touch of heat. So good!
I cooked the ribs in the smoker. 230° for 4 hours. 2 hours with full smoke and two hours wrapped in foil. Then I put them on the grill, added the sauce and tightened them up for about 10 minutes.
