No late inning dramatics were needed this time. The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Baltimore Orioles 8-3 at Miller Park in the rubber game of the three game series. A night after finishing off the Birds with a walk off RBI pinch hit double, Yovani Gallardo picked up another win by allowing three runs over 6 and two thirds innings. Gallardo had plenty of run support. Ryan Braun delivered a two run double early, Carlos Gomez had a couple of hits with an RBI and Khris Davis put the game away with a three run home run in a four run 8th. Milwaukee (32-22) got some help from the Yankees who beat St. Louis 7-4 to expand their division lead to two and a half games. The Brewers have a day off Thursday before continuing the homestand against the Chicago Cubs Friday night.
