Oshkosh police arrest one man, search for another in donation jar theft

OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - One man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a donation jar in Oshkosh.

The heist took place at the Walgreens store on S. Koeller Street on May 1. Investigators say two men walked up to the front counter. As one of the men distracted the clerk, the other man stole the jar, which had between $25 and $50 in donations for juvenile diabetes.

On May 16, police arrested 31-year-old Joshua Bohn of Oshkosh at a motel on numerous outstanding warrants from different agencies. Bohn has yet to be formally charged with the donation jar theft.

Police continue the search for Bohn's brother, 32-year-old Robert Bohn. Robert also has arrest warrants out from other agencies. He's described as 5'10", 200 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. Authorities believe he may be in the Oshkosh or Redgranite area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Robertson or Det. Wilson at (920) 236-5732. Anonymous tips can also be left with Winnebago County Wide Crime Stoppers by calling (920) 231-8477, sending a test message with the keyword IGOTYA to 274637 or online.
