Brewers head north

The Milwaukee Brewers broke camp in Maryvale, Arizona Thursday.  They lost their final Cactus League game of the spring to the Cincinnati Reds 8-2.  Kyle Lohse worked five innings allowing five hits and two runs.   Milwaukee managed only 6 hits in the loss as Ryan Braun delivered an RBI double.  The Brewers now head to Miller Park for a pair of exhibition games with the Kansas City Royals Friday and Saturday night before opening the regular season against the Atlanta Braves on Monday.  Yovanni Gallardo will make his 5th opening day start for the Crew.

Manager Ron Roenicke announced Thursday that Khris Davis will open the season in left field.  A decision between Lyle Overbay and Mark Reynolds at first base and Rickie Weeks and Scooter Gennett at second will be made this weekend.
