The Cincinnati Reds pounded the Milwaukee Brewers 13-4 to spoil Father's Day before a big crowd at Miller Park Sunday. The long ball struggles for Marco Estrada continued as he gave up three home runs to the Reds, increasing his major league leading total to 23 in 84 innings. Billy Hamilton led off the game with a solo home run, Brandon Phillips connected on a two run shot in the first to get the visitors out of the gate. Estrada helped himself with an RBI single in the 4th, Scooter Gennett got the game even with a two run single. Estrada gave the lead back with Todd Frazier's team high 15th homer in the 5th. Johnathan Lucroy hit his 6th of the year in the bottom of the fifth and it was just a 5-4 game until Cincinnati rocked the Milwaukee bullpen late. Rob Wooten gave up six hits and five runs without recording an out in the 8th and youngster Wei-Chung Wang surrendured three more runs in the 9th. The Reds take two of three on the weekend and Milwaukee (41-29) now has just a three and a half game lead in the NL Central over St. Louis. The Brewers hit the road again for a four game series in Arizona against the Diamondbacks. Wily Peralta will pitch in the series opener Monday night. Pre-Game coverage begins at 8:05 PM on WTAQ.
