WINONA, MN (WTAQ) - Somebody's been burning American flags just across the Wisconsin border at homes in Winona Minnesota.
Police have responded to 13 recent flag-burning incidents -- and most of the flags were on poles attached to houses.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding those who are doing it. A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Winona American Legion Hall, where police and City Council members will discuss the matter.
Winona is located about 25 miles northwest of La Crosse on the Mississippi River.
