CRANDON, Wis. (WSAU) - A Crandon daycare operator is facing charges in relation to crimes her son allegedly committed.
Forest County officials have charged 39-year-old William “BJ” Anderson of Crandon with committing a number of sexual assaults on four to six-year-old daycare children between January and September 11th. The operator of the daycare is his mother Nancy Anderson, who is also facing seven misdemeanor charges.
District Attorney Chuck Simono says in this situation, you can be charged for your actions or for your omissions or failure to act. He believes Nancy Anderson failed to prevent William’s crimes by leaving children in his care at the daycare center.
Both of the Anderson’s have future court dates scheduled. William remains jailed, charged with six felony counts of exposure and repeated child sex assaults. He will be back in court November 12th. Nancy Anderson’s next hearing is in January 22nd to face child neglect and license violation charges.
