Darius Rucker 's latest single, "Radio," is a nod to his lifelong love of listening to music over the airwaves. Darius first scored success on the radio as a member of Hootie & The Blowfish in the '90s, and went on to have a second act as a solo country star thanks to his #1 radio hits like "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" and "Wagon Wheel." He's quick to credit the gatekeepers at country radio with his latest round of success.
Darius says, " I'm not crazy. I'm not stupid. I'm not sitting here thinking that I'm this great artist who everybody has to listen to, 'cause that's not true. I got lucky and the people at radio like me and they play my stuff."
Darius's country radio hits led to him becoming a Grand Ole Opry member last year.
