GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The Detroit Lions are investigating a report that center Dominic Raiola verbally abused members of the Wisconsin Badger marching band on the field at Sunday's Packer victory in Green Bay.

UW band member Zach York complained on Facebook that Raiola questioned his sexuality while he was marching down the field to play the national anthem. He continued, "After I refused to give him the satisfaction of turning to look at him, he switched targets to a trombone player, ranting at him, calling him overweight, and saying he can't play a real sport."

York also said Raiola yelled a profanity to a female band member at halftime.

Another report said Raiola called the UW tuba players fat -- and his teammate Louis Delmas apologized to the band and said he enjoyed their performance.

The UW is not commenting.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz promised that the matter would be addressed. Dominic Raiola is the brother of Donovan Raiola, who played for the Badger football team a decade ago.
