The #12/15 Wisconsin Badgers hosted North Dakota Tuesday night and Kohl Center fans witnessed a record setting night from center Frank Kaminsky. The big man piled up 43 points in Wisconsin's 103-85 victory. The total established a new, single game scoring record for Wisconsin basketball. The previous mark was shared by Ken Barnes who scored 42 in 1965 and later matched by Michael Finley in 1994. Kaminsky was on fire right from the start, hitting his first half dozen shots. He never did miss from behind the arc, hitting all 6 three point shots. He wound up 16 of 19 from the floor. With the game in hand, head coach Bo Ryan pulled him with 41 points. He went back in, didn't score and headed to the bench again. Fans booed to bring him back, Ryan did, and Kaminsky broke the record with a layup in the final minute. Sam Dekker chipped in with 19 points as Wisconsin improves to 4-0. Milwaukee native Troy Huff knocked down 37 for North Dakota in the loss.
