BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - Brown County Sheriff's say an undercover prostitution investigation has led to 21 people being arrested last week.
On May 9, sheriff's deputies arrested 17 women and four men, between the ages of 18 and 50. Authorities say many were issued tickets for ordinance violations in Howard and Suamico.
Others were arrested on a range of possible charges or active warrants.
Investigators say they will not release specific details about the operation.
Brown County Sheriff's Capt. David Konrath says there has been an increase in prostitution across the region, and they continue to make a concerted effort to crack down on the problem.
