WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WSAU-Wheeler News) - Wauwatosa police aren’t saying if anybody has been arrested, but they did apparently head off a bomb plot at Wauwatosa East High School.
Police say they were able to stop the attack when a student reported hearing two teenagers talk about putting a small bomb in a stairwell. Their plan was that blast would lead people to another part of the school – where an even more-powerful bomb would go off.
Investigators seized computers, cell phones and other materials the teens were thought to be planning to use. The suspects may have had as many as four different attack plans, including one involving a suicide bomb.
