RACINE, WI (WTAQ) - The Racine County district attorney’s office has reduced the charges against an emergency medical technician accused of sexually assaulting a patient.
The second-degree sexual assault charges are now third-degree.
If Somers EMT Jodin Froeber is convicted, the reduced charge means he faces a maximum sentence which will be 20 years shorter.
Froeber is accused of sexually assault a woman who was 20-years-old at the time in the back of an ambulance. The alleged crime happened in July 2011.
