Taylor Swift brought a big smile to a sick little girl's face at her show Friday night in Charlotte, NC. Taylor met eight-year-old Emma Routh backstage before the show and then brought her onstage as she performed "Sparks Fly" towards the end of the show.
Emma suffers from a rare blood disorder called fanconi anemia and has endured a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy. A post from the girl's family on their Facebook page, Prayers for Emma , thanked Taylor for her generosity saying, "Emma kept telling me, 'I feel so special tonight.' When we are not promised a tomorrow with our sweet Emma, every moment counts. You gave us memories that will last a lifetime. So grateful tonight, and that she can forget about all of the pain and just be a kid again."
Taylor continues her RED tour with a three-night stand in Newark, NJ starting Wednesday.
