The Milwaukee Bucks had a chance to tighten the Eastern Conference playoff chase but fell to the Hawks in Atlanta 98-90 Wednesday night. Milwaukee entered the game in 8th place in the East but only two and a half games behind Atlanta for the number five seed. The Hawks broke open the game in the third quarter, outscoring Milwaukee 29-16. Jeff Teague led Atlanta with 27. Brandon Jennings topped the Bucks with 21, Larry Sanders added 19 points and 14 rebounds. Milwaukee shot just 37% from the floor with Monta Ellis really struggling, hitting only two of 11 shots. Milwaukee (34-33) travels to Indiana to meet the division leading Pacers on Friday night.
