NATIONAL HARBOR, MD (WTAQ) - Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker got big cheers when he told the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference, “In America, we believe in the people and not in the government.”

The Republican darling of the conservative movement said that’s why we celebrate the Fourth of July, and not April 15th.

A lot of speculation centers on Walker running for president in 2016.

Walker told the Associated Press last month that is an option, but not something he is actively going for right now.
