MERILL, WI (WTAQ) - A Wisconsin Megabucks’ ticket from Merrill won the jackpot of $1.4 million over the weekend.
The ticket was sold at Drew’s Supermarket East.
It was the first jackpot winner since April 13th, when Michelle Grant of Denmark won $4 million.
Saturday’s numbers were 3, 10, 12, 15, 30, and 41. Megabucks is a Wisconsin-only lotto game, played on Wednesdays and Saturdays around the same time as Powerball.
Speaking of Powerball, a ticket sold in Pennsylvania won the $131.5 million jackpot on Saturday night.
One Wisconsin player won $40,000 by buying the Power Play, and matching four regular numbers plus the Powerball. Another player in the Badger State won $10,000 by matching four plus the Powerball without the Power Play.
Almost 12,000 Wisconsin players won smaller prizes. The numbers were 13, 19, 23, 33, and 57. The Powerball was 28.
The jackpot goes back to $40 million on Wednesday night. The top prize for Mega Millions is $52 million for Tuesday night.
