It was a comedy of errors as the Milwaukee Brewers wrapped up a road trip with a 7-4, 10 inning loss to the Astros in Houston Thursday afternoon. Both teams were shoddy defensively. Milwaukee scored three unearned runs in the second to grab the lead, but were generous in letting the Astros back in the game. Yovani Gallardo worked seven innings, giving up five hits and three runs but they were all unearned. Jonathan Lucroy launched his 7th homer of the season in the top of the 6th to give the Brewers the lead but Jim Henderson served up a solo shot to Carlos Corporan that evened the score in the bottom of the 8th. In the 10th, the Brewers got a strike out but a wild pitch put a runner on one down. J.D. Martinez followed that up with a double and on the next pitch from reliever Michael Gonzalez, Carlos Pena sent a deep drive to right for the walk off, three run homer. Milwaukee (29-42) returns home to face the NL East leading Atlanta Braves in a three game, weekend series at Miller Park. Wily Peralta is on the mound for Friday night's series opener. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:35 PM on WTAQ.
