Caleb Gindl's first major league home run won't be forgotten anytime soon. The Rookie left fielder knocked it out to give the Milwaukee Brewers a dramatic, 1-0, 13th inning walk off victory over the Miami Marlins at Miller Park. The win completed a three game sweep in which the Brewers did not allow the Marlins to cross the plate all weekend. Miami has been held scoreless for 37 innings, going back to the final game before the All-Star break, the longest drought since the Houston Astros failed to score in 42 innings back in 1985. Kyle Lohse and then Yovani Gallardo delivered strong performances in the first two games of the series, on Sunday, it was Wily Peralta's turn. He pitched 8 shutout ininngs, allowing only two hits. John Axford pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win in relief. Milwaukee (41-56) will host the San Diego Padres Monday with Tom Gorzelany on the hill.
