Former detective writes new book about deadly teen traps and how God can help them

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A retired Brown County Sheriff’s Detective has penned a second book called “Traps for Teens” that help will guide them through struggles and how God can lead them to happiness.

Father of three and author Don Stewart is recommending the book for teens 13 and up.

Stewart has 25 years’ experience with the Sheriff’s department where he worked in homicide, gang and juvenile divisions.

Stewarts feels that the moral foundation of families has disappeared and is worried about the culture teenagers are being raised in.

The core of Stewart’s book is God and references scripture throughout. The book tells teenagers how they can find happiness if they accept God into their lives.

The book isn’t just for teens; Stewart says parents need to be Godly examples and they provide guidance.
