The Milwaukee Brewers snapped their six game losing streak by shutting out the Nationals in Washington Tuesday night 4-0. The game was scoreless for seven innings as Stephen Strassburg struck out 8 but was matched by Wily Peralta. The young right hander got out of a bases loaded jam in the first inning and was looking strong until he came up with a pulled hamstring in the sixth and had to leave the game. The severity of the injury is still not know. Jim Henderson picked up the win in relief as the Brewers broke loose for all four runs in the 8th inning off Nationals reliever Drew Storen. Juan Francisco had the big blow, a two run double to right-center. Martin Maldanado and Jeff Bianchi also drove in runs. Milwaukee (33-49) will send Kyle Lohse against Ross Detwiler in game three of the series at Nationals Park Wednesday afternoon. Pre-Game coverage begins at 4:30 PM on WTAQ.
