PULASKI, WI (WTAQ) - Pulaski School District officials say nine high school students have been expelled for allegedly distributing prescription drugs on school grounds.
According to the school's website, administrators were tipped off by fellow students who were concerned about their classmates using the drugs.
On the posting dated Thursday, January 17th, district officials said, "We are proud of our students who stepped up to be leaders within the high school for doing what's right and bringing this to our attention. These students may have saved the life of a classmate by coming forward."
It's not clear what kind of prescription drugs were being handed out.
The message also reminds parents to educate themselves and talk to their children about the dangerous consequences of experimenting with prescription drugs.
